Vulamasango was donated a complete carpentry workshop (90 m²) from Germany by former carpenter, Harald Schneider, in 2013. It has been run on and off since then by visiting German carpenters, and the first former youth from the OVC was able to complete an 18-month basic carpentry training apprenticeship. The aim is to establish an accredited workshop to train youth in developing vocational skills. We are currently looking for more qualified carpenters to run the workshop (preferably from Germany).
